Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role is designed to prepare talent for a stylist position, with mentorship from an Elite or Master Stylist during months 1–3 and progression to serving guests of your own in subsequent months.

You should have a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the willingness to learn new skills and product knowledge while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store goals.
• Assist mentor stylist with hair services and product recommendations.
• Perform hair design, color, styling, extensions, makeup when qualified.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and inventory as per procedures.
• Support in-store events and promotions to enhance guest experience.
