Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. This temporary role prepares talent for a stylist position, with mentorship from an Elite or Master Stylist for the first 3 months to focus on guest service, performance, and growth.

After month three, the Assistant Stylist will begin performing hair services and continue assisting while building a client base.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Must demonstrate passion for the beauty industry and provide exceptional guest service.
• Willingness to learn additional technical skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals for retail and service sales.
• Assist mentor stylist and, after month three, perform hair services and build own client base.
• Demonstrate products to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver a premier guest experience.
