Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive customer satisfaction, and develop staff. You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and retain talent, promote sales, and manage customer relations.

The role offers an hourly base with commission and a store-performance bonus. Expect a busy retail environment with jewelry, tools, electronics, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Cash handling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash drawers, and protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and loan documentation.
• Manage store operations including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Review financial statements and drive profitability through goal setting.
• Maintain operating standards to meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate with employees about mission and objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of Store Manager.
