Job summary

FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and develop staff while partnering with the Store Manager to meet financial goals. The role focuses on promoting a customer‑centric environment and safeguarding assets across a diverse product range including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms in FFL locations.

The position offers an hourly wage with commission based on productivity and a bonus tied to store performance.

Qualifications

Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
Monitor and assist in training staff to meet FirstCash standards.
Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
Open/close store, count cash drawers, ensure asset protection procedures.
Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
Drive profitability through analysis of financial statements and goal setting.
Ensure operations meet FirstCash standards and loan processes are sound.
Communicate clearly to align with store mission and profit objectives.
