Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Vacaville, CA to drive sales, lead a customer-focused team, and manage daily store operations. The role reports to the Store Manager and emphasizes training, compliance, and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
