Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales performance, maintain store standards, and uphold loss-prevention practices while delivering a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes team leadership, adherence to policies, and a hands-on approach to store operations, including scheduling, merchandising, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer progressive disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives and brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates for unexpected peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with policies and protect company inventory and funds.
