Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Alhambra is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager for our thrift store. You will partner with the Store Manager to run day-to-day operations, POS, inventory, and merchandising while delivering excellent customer and donor experiences.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of Retail Management experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Retail Management/Supervisory experience (thrift preferred).
• Excellent communication with management, employees, customers and donors.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in day-to-day store operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory and donations.
• Supervise staff in the Store Manager's absence and ensure coverage.
• Monitor key performance indicators to drive sales and profitability per budget and goals.
