Job summary

Buckle is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to train Teammates, develop sales strategies, and lead in the Store’s daily operations.

This role progresses from AIT to full Assistant Manager with increasing responsibilities. You’ll engage in recruiting, coaching, and driving sales while maintaining Buckle's standards in guest service and merchandise presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to coach Teammates.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with exceptional customer service and showmanship.
• Recruit, train and develop Teammates to meet Buckle standards.
• Plan and execute store operations, goals and visual standards.
• Conduct daily interviews and support Store Manager in staffing.
