Open and close the store as directed, handle customer issues, train team members, manage schedules, and participate in loss prevention and policy compliance to deliver Best of the WEST service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell product and manage a retail department.

• Able to read and interpret basic instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s Culture and drive Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain active role in personal selling and meet sales per hour goals.
• Train all associate positions and act as Manager on Duty as assigned.
• Open and close store, address customer complaints, and handle returns/exchanges.
• Improve sales, maintain profit, and reduce expenses using key metrics.
• Lead training on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Maintain safe, secure store environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead team to deliver Best of the WEST customer service and keep store organized.
• Schedule work, monitor timecards, and approve payroll bi-weekly.
• Escalate customer issues or personnel matters with leadership.
