Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, handle deposits, and support profitability and asset protection.

You will also perform stocking and cashiering duties, implement planograms, and assist with scheduling, training, and store financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.

• Manage merchandise handling, stocking, and displays in accordance with planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with loss prevention and cash controls.
• Support store operations in the Manager's absence.
