Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and staff development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized and replenished on the sales floor.

The role involves supervising, training, and guiding Store Associates while maintaining a safe, friendly environment. This position is part-time and located at our Brookfield, WI store, with standard retail hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and beding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
