Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team and support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with merchandise handling, opening/closing, and executing corporate directives while maintaining store standards.

You will help supervise and train store associates, ensure a safe and friendly environment for customers and team members, and uphold company policies. This role is part-time and shop-floor focused.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with proactive problem solving.

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
