Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and help maintain seasonal displays.

You will supervise and train associates, enforce policies, protect store assets, and ensure a clean, safe environment. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail management experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with inquiries and concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash and inventory.
• Train and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
