Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with daily activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store remains well-stocked and presentable.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, opening/closing procedures, and upholding company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention. This is a part-time position at our Sharon, PA location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience in a retail, grocery, or similar environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers in a positive, approachable manner and resolve questions or concerns.
• Help organize and move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures for optimal impact.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Ensure store areas are well-stocked, organized, and secure.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain a positive, safe environment.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
