Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager at Mall of Georgia to help lead our store operations and team.

You will assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff, leading meetings, and driving customer and donor satisfaction while aiming to meet or exceed budgeted financial performance.

We offer ongoing training and opportunities to transfer to other stores as you grow within our organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience supervising 15+ employees or 1 year supervisor experience with Goodwill training
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Retail, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or Economics plus 1 year supervisory experience
• 4+ years military service with supervisory experience may substitute for above requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in running the store, including hiring, training, motivating and supervising staff
• Lead meetings and help the store meet customer and donor satisfaction standards
• Maintain displays and merchandising, ensure cash handling per policy and drive budgeted financial performance
• Progression opportunities may include transfer to other stores
