Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Arlington, WA. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store areas meet company standards.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with ability to lift up to 55 lbs and prior retail leadership preferred. You will help train Store Associates, uphold safety and policies, and maintain a clean, welcoming

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and must be able to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for consistency.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
