Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mill Creek, WA to support store operations, customer service, and team development on a part-time basis. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise organization, opening and closing procedures, payroll/scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and protecting company assets.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to help Store Managers train associates

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
