Job summary

Timberland in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Brand Advocates and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through engaging customers, merchandising, operations and community involvement.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the store and drive a high-performing, inclusive retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Supervise daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create authentic brand experiences.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Partner with Store Manager to manage expenses and drive profitability.
