Goodwill Central Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Leander, TX to help lead daily operations, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will partner with the Retail General Manager to guide merchandising, operations, and donor interactions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail with a minimum 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong organizational and communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience in retail or similar roles.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management position.

Responsibilities

• Support the Retail GM in leading store operations, staffing, merchandising, and customer service.
• Supervise and mentor retail, donation, and production staff.
• Manage scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and store opening/closing.
• Lead on floor during peak times and assist donors and customers as needed.
• Drive store productivity while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
