Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work with the Store Manager to build outstanding teams and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will partner with leadership to drive growth, coach associates, and ensure smooth daily operations while upholding our brand and values.

You will lead with energy in a fast-paced retail environment, focusing on selling, training, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a proven track record in sales, customer experience and operations in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Previous management experience, preferably in retail.
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Ability to mentor associates and provide in-the-moment feedback.
• Willingness to work peak days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to develop and retain top talent.
• Set clear performance expectations and accountability for associates.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled and handle customer, vendor or maintenance issues.
• Support action plans to improve results and execute store operations.
• Lead floorset direction and drive selling excellence with product knowledge.
• Oversee opening/closing routines, banking, shipments and company directives.
• Provide coaching to improve selling and customer experience.
• Ensure payroll targets through sufficient sales floor coverage.
• Create genuine customer connections through needs discovery and recommendations.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness and visual standards.
