Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of retail grocery store operations.
• Intermediate understanding of Company checkout policies and procedures.
• Intermediate knowledge of state laws regarding the sale of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery, as applicable.
• Intermediate knowledge of anti-money laundering and other government regulations relating to monetary transactions.
• Intermediate knowledge of cash register.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train and develop partners; plan, assign, and direct work.
• Ensure effective training of partners within the departments under supervision.
• Review historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions.
• Manage inventory to maintain satisfactory in-stock levels and accuracy.
• Oversee pricing, signage accuracy, backroom organization, and security.
• Lead safety processes, inspections, and incident reporting.
