Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and aid in driving sales while upholding service standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager on hiring, onboarding, and development of associates, ensuring a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment.

This role requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer service standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
