Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead teams, and assist with hiring and training. You will help drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and ensure strong customer service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in assistant management or retail leadership.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and people leadership skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong math skills including percentages.
• Customer-focused execution and operational accountability.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Support daily store operations to achieve sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training.
• Support staffing levels through recruiting and retention efforts.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized, customer-focused store environment.
• Reinforce adherence to company policies and loss prevention standards.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations and business needs.
