Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead the team, and drive staffing efforts. You will partner with the Store Manager to enhance sales performance, execute operational standards, and develop store associates.

Responsibilities include hiring support, coaching, inventory control, and loss prevention, while ensuring a safe, customer-focused environment. Flexible scheduling and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff; support staffing levels.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused store environment.
• Support merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
