Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Maryland to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, driving sales and profitability through effective merchandising, expense control, and inventory management.

You'll lead and develop the store team, ensure customer service excellence, and oversee recruiting, training, and performance reviews while maintaining a friendly, compliant retail environment across assigned districts. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in retail management.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, plan and organize.
• Professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work across multiple stores in the district.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Train and develop store team; monitor scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Recruitment, selection and training of store personnel.
• Support expense management and develop strategies to meet budget.
• Monitor shrink and ensure compliance with company policies and loss control.
