Job summary

O'Reilly Automotive Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the team, manage shifts, and mentor staff while ensuring high service standards across retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales specialist training and assistant manager certification are required.
• RSS certification, Certified Parts Professional certification and ASE certification are preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execute on service programs.
• Assist store manager in staffing during peak hours and in goal setting/coaching.
• Aid in hiring processes including interviews and candidate selection.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and invoicing are handled accurately and according to policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, secure money/deposits, and monitor store security.
