Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Evansville, IN. This role leads store operations, drives sales, and ensures top-notch customer service while maintaining brand standards and a positive working environment.

You will manage scheduling, training, and performance, mentor staff, and uphold store policies to deliver a premium retail experience for fans and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when the Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and mentor store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Conduct disciplinary steps when the Store Manager is absent.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and uphold brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during peaks.
• Support recruiting and training of store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and cash handling practices.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and store appearance.
