Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Terre Haute to lead store operations with a strong focus on customer experience and team leadership. You will drive sales, manage daily store performance, and model the Lids standards while coaching staff to deliver premium service.

As a key member of the store team, you’ll schedule, train, and develop associates, ensure visual merchandising and inventory accuracy, and uphold loss-prevention practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working unsupervised in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training, goal setting, and follow-up to meet sales tasks.
• Enforce discipline with verbal and written warnings as needed in the Manager's absence.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, calling in associates for peak periods as needed.
• Support recruiting and training of store personnel on operations and procedures.
