Job summary

POP MART in Brea, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead on the sales floor, coach a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience aligned with POP MART's premium brand.

You will oversee daily store operations, inventory, merchandising, and store performance, partner with the Store Manager on recruitment and development, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed, driving KPIs and memorable experiences for collectors and first-time visitors alike.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture valued.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business metrics and implement action plans that drive results.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Brand Associates and Sales Leads to drive performance.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on the sales floor and model brand standards.
• Analyze KPIs (sales, conversion, UPT, ATV, payroll productivity) and plan improvements.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, safety, and compliance.
• Manage visual merchandising, planograms, displays, and inventory flow.
• Support scheduling, daily task planning, and stockroom organization.
• Act as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is unavailable, making operational decisions.
