Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior store management experience in retail or grocery, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will supervise and train associates, maintain store standards, and uphold safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks; frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; manage seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain a safe, respectful environment.
