Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in New Richmond, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities and help train and supervise Store Associates.

You’ll organize merchandise from delivery to shelf, perform opening/closing procedures, enforce company policies, and ensure a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment while delivering exceptional service to customers and maintaining promotional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and payroll-related record keeping.
• Maintain stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets and cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Help store manager supervise and develop associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
