Qualifications

• Minimum high school level; ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effective written communication.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and uphold company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect assets and secure store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
