Job summary

Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and perform opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities include supervising and training Store Associates, maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment, and ensuring policy compliance across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise moving from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment.
