You will support opening and closing procedures, assist with merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies and maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and internal communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts; support loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff comply with procedures.
• Help store manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, restocking bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, taking out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
