Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in South Dakota to support the Store Manager with sales, customer service, store appearance and daily operations. This role will lead the store team during the manager’s absence and through opposite shifts to ensure a quality shopping experience.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification; preferred: Certified Parts Professional and ASE.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Desired certifications: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels and adherence to store programs.
• Assist in staffing, hiring, coaching, and goal setting with the store manager.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store transfers and related orders.
• Oversee daily opening/closing duties and maintenance of store appearance and safety.
