Job summary

Boot Barn, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Beaverton, OR to join our store leadership team. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, coach partners, and uphold Boot Barn’s service standards, merchandising guidelines and community focus.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, develop talent, manage store operations, and help implement store initiatives. This role requires flexibility for varied shifts and a passion for customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed expectations.
• Review goals with partners, provide coaching, feedback, and recognition.
• Develop training plans to improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on scheduling, hiring, and policy communication.
• Plan and execute community outreach and volume-driving events.
• Lead loyalty program engagement and accountability for goals.
• Maintain merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, and presentations per guidelines.
• Assist with inventory shrink plans and drive related strategies.
• Open and close procedures in line with company standards and attendance policy.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
