Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the leadership team and partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, service, and operations at a Boot Barn location in Ohio. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and merchandising excellence while fostering a community-focused store culture.

You will lead teams, manage schedules, and ensure policy compliance, with a focus on customer satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of retail store management experience.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed customer expectations.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching and feedback, and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs, schedule, hiring, and policies.
• Maintain merchandise stock levels and store presentation according to company guidelines.
• Plan and execute local community outreach events and drive engagement.
