Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations with a customer-first focus in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise staff, manage inventory and cashier activities, and help drive profitability while protecting company assets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of retail experience, and six months of supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory; control damages and markdowns; handle paperwork and deposits.
Ensure planograms are followed and merchandise is presented as directed by Store Manager.
Maintain financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash handling procedures; manage refunds and deposits.
Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
