Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead a high-performing team delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

You’ll drive profitable sales through operations, merchandising, and talent development, collaborating with the GM/AGM to coach Leads and brand associates. The role requires 1–3 years of retail management, flexible scheduling, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Passionate about retail and fast-paced environments.
• Driven by metrics to meet goals.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and customer experience.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility within the store.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Lead Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of retail competition.
• Promote community involvement and omni‑channel experiences.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
