Qualifications

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the position or similar role.
• Experience operating a POS system and in-store computerized systems.
• Ability to use judgment to resolve day-to-day operational problems.
• Effective communication skills with store leadership, staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Execute and support plans to enhance employee productivity and performance.
• Assist the Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis to ensure staff performance standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Assist the Store Manager with developing and implementing action plans to address issues relating to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
