Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a fast-paced sneaker-forward store environment. You will lead on the floor, coach the team, and help drive sales while maintaining store operations with urgency and ownership.

You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and ensure a great experience. The role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with a focus on delivering exceptional customer moments.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of retail experience, with leadership or key holder responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for customers.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Help the team hit sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Assist in opening/closing and cash handling to support daily store operations.
• Keep the store organized, customer-ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers and product.
• Provide Manager on Duty leadership when scheduled and guide store staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
