Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and managing shifts in the absence of the Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with a strong focus on coaching, hiring, and training to drive performance. The position emphasizes supervision, scheduling, order processing, and ensuring all policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training
• Required: Assistant Manager Certification
• Required: RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Assist in staffing of the retail sales counter during peak hours and coordinate with the store manager on goals and training.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and interviewing candidates.
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy and manage order processing and transfers efficiently.
