Foot Locker in Tyler, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to help lead the store with energy, ownership, and purpose. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and maintaining store operations to deliver a great customer experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership, quick decision-making, and a commitment to store standards while engaging customers and teammates. You’ll contribute to building sneaker culture and shaping our in-store experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions to customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing interactions with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Ensure store is organized, customer-ready, and running smoothly.
