Foot Locker in Sacramento is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the store with energy, ownership, and purpose, driving sales, coaching the team, and delivering a top-notch customer experience on the floor. You will support the Store Manager, stay hands-on, and embody an "Always on, Never no" mindset to guide execution, teamwork, and standards.

This role uses retail tech to enable staff and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail leadership or key holder experience.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Leverage retail technology and digital tools to enhance the customer experience and store operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring, onboarding, and training.
