Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when shifting opposite schedules.

The Assistant Manager will lead the store team in servicing customers, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. O’Reilly Auto Parts emphasizes internal growth, comprehensive benefits, and a culture of promoting from within.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by participating in interviews and coordinating recruitment.
• Ensure all transactions, returns and exchanges are processed correctly and according to policy.
• Maintain store appearance, signage, lighting, and security measures, including opening/closing duties.
