Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Shenandoah, PA location. You will help manage daily activities, assist customers, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and stocked.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to lead a small team, and a commitment to safety and policy adherence.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash and secure premises.
• Enforce policies and safety procedures; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
