Job summary

LLGI's Champaign, IL location is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in running daily retail operations, accepting donations, driving sales, and supervising staff and volunteers.

The role emphasizes integrity, transparency, and supporting the mission while development to a Store Manager position. Travel within the territory may be required, and CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires 1 year of experience in a leadership or oversight role, preferably in retail.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Direct activities of staff and volunteers to ensure accurate processing of sales and donations.
• Promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values and foster diversity.
• Train and coach staff to develop skills and improve performance.
• Help manage store budget and maximize financial performance.
