Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and assist with deposits and cash handling.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with prior retail and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Retail experience with supervisory exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities required.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes for receiving, stocking, restocking, and rotating merchandise; build displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls; assist with deposits and reports.
• Support store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
