Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store. You will supervise staff, assist with merchandise presentation, deposits, and cash handling while protecting assets.

The role includes stocking, cashiering, scheduling, training, safety meetings, and maintaining inventory; you may lead in the Manager's absence and help maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail experience; six months supervisory preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms and ensure merchandise is presented per guidelines.
• Support financial integrity through cashier accountability, deposits, refunds/overrides.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
