Dollar General seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and assist with deposits and paperwork to maximize profitability and reduce losses.

The role includes supervising employees, ensuring planograms, managing inventory, and supporting store operations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this fast-paced retail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees and training, and conduct safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and control damages, markdowns, and deposits.
• Implement and maintain planograms and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cashier accountability, cash control, and deposits; authorize refunds/overrides and count tills.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
